Freelance Radar continuously finds contract roles posted publicly on LinkedIn by recruiters, agencies and hiring managers in Australia. This barometer aggregates the 37 contract roles from the last 90 days with an explicit rate in Australian dollars, out of 170 contract roles found in total. Hourly rates are converted to a day rate on the basis of an 8 hour day. Rates are taken as written: 51% are quoted + super (super paid on top) and 22% inc super, the rest do not say. Values are medians (less sensitive to outliers than an average); the range runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile. Only specialisations and cities with enough day rates are shown. Day rates outside $300 to $3,000 are excluded.
