Methodology

Freelance Radar continuously finds contract jobs posted publicly on LinkedIn by recruiters, staffing agencies and hiring managers in Canada. This barometer aggregates the 46 contract jobs from the last 90 days with an explicit hourly rate in Canadian dollars (CAD), out of 247 contract jobs found in total. Values are medians (less sensitive to outliers than an average); the range runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile. Only specialties and cities with enough hourly rates are shown. Hourly rates outside $20 to $350 per hour are excluded, as are per diem and annual amounts.
